Commercial Machine Embroidery is an elegant method to add value and branding to clothing. This is an ancient craft of decorating fabric using a needle and thread to create patterns or images. The craft has been practiced worldwide with some of the earliest examples dating from 5th–3rd century BC. In 1832, during the Industrial Revolution, machine embroidery was invented in France. 

Machine embroidery is used heavily in product branding, corporate advertising, and uniform adornment. It is also used in the fashion industry to decorate garments and apparel including all manner of clothing, tote bags and fabric accessories. Modern computerized machine embroidery is an automated process using digital art. Garments are placed into a hooping or framing system that holds the framed area of fabric taut under the sewing needle. The machines then move automatically to create a design from a pre-programmed digital embroidery pattern.
